The month of March is #NationalWomensHistoryMonth and we get to kick it off by celebrating the ultimate trailblazer in our field: Emma M. Nutt who, in 1878, became the world's first telephone operator. Her start was the turning point for communications as the male-driven industry, which relied on men and boys to run telegraph communications, discovered that their customers preferred her professional and calm, yet soothing, voice on their lines. It was the start of a celebrated almost four decade career.
Thank you, Emma! #mondaymotivation
